Galerie Vivienne
I’d heard about these 19th century shopping arcades and that some still existed in Paris, so I set out to find one or two. After a bit of back-tracking and consulting of maps and notes, I discovered Galerie Vivienne just as a light rain was beginning to fall. Leaving the gray skies behind, I ducked inside to find this unexpected peaceful little passage. I stood just inside the entrance for a moment, shaking off the cold and the noisy street, taking in the quiet, feeling as if I had the entire place to myself.

Sadly, many of the shops and galleries were not open that day, but I was fortunate to find a hot cup of tea and a quiet place to rest my weary feet ~ and consult my map to see where the next passage might lie…

Its just beautiful there and I have visited it a couple of times but never had tea there ! Was it good?
