Liberté! Liberté! Liberté!
04/08/2010
On my way back to my hotel one late afternoon I noticed a bit of a crowd, police & shouting in front of the Saint-Michel fountain, so of course, I had to investigate…

I don’t think it is a secret that the French love a good protest. Lots of shouting about “Liberté”, but beyond that, I had no idea. I was too busy checking out the police who seemed both serious and bored at the same time…

Oops! I’ve been spotted, guess I’ll be going now… On my way… Nothing to see here….

Oh my, now I will subscribe to your blog: love your posts…have just begun to skim them, but I’ll be back! Do you live in Paris? visit a lot? You have no profile posted anywhere!
I just (last night…) made plans for my next trip over in Sept. Hard to wait that long!
we spent a new years in Paris and were shocked with the police started firing tear gas into the peaceful and happy crowd under the tower. They didn’t stay that way for long! It was a crazy (and really fun) night!
