I thought about going in when we wandered by last month, but we didn’t. After seeing your photos I wish we had! They are extraordinary!
    Next time. Definitely.

    Bonjour,

I have visited a few cemeteries. They are quite different from the ones in North America. You can feel the presence, the pain and the love of the people left behind. The artwork is phenomenal. Thanks for sharing.

I love the one of Guy Pitchal! When I went to Montmartre Cemetery and found his marker, I think I stood there for at least five minutes moving to and fro as it looks like he is looking at you in 3-D. It’s the coolest headstone ever! I also really liked the gravesite of the singer Dalida. It was amazing. If you did not catch that one, you should the next time you visit the cemetery. It’s gorgeous.

I love the shot you got of the kitties, too. I love graveyard cats.

(And P.S. on a personal note — I know I have not written you back in an age! I am so sorry. I hope to reply to you very soon! I’ve been having trouble with time management of late and getting everything I want accomplished. I just wanted you to know I was thinking of you, though, and hoping you are well. :) Take care & bon weekend to you. )

Montmartre is one I need to revisit. I seem to have trouble shooting in cemeteries. Your photographs are much much better than mine! I do have that black cat that I snapped there. :)

Beautiful photos! I loved meandering around Montmarte cemetery when I was there last.
