Café Crème

06/10/2010

I adore the coffee in Paris.  It is usually the first thing I do upon arrive in the early morning after dropping bags at the hotel.  Find a dreamy cup of café crème.

On my last trip, I found this satisfying cup here, right next door to Notre Dame.  Call me a tourist.  I don’t care…

With me it’s chocolat chaud. But I know exactly what you mean. It’s all I can think about the whole plane trip over there.

The most amazing coffee in the most amazing place regardless of whether it is touristy or not…I just have to have mine with soy unfortunately!

Thank you for visiting my blog. I look forward to coming back.

I had not realized I had not visited in over a week. Naughty me!! Here I am now, though. Hope you are well. :)

I love café in a café, too. I really miss the crème part of a café, but thankfully I can still do the coffee part now and again.

I adore the lighting in the photo of the Aux Tours de Notre Dame. So warm and inviting-looking.

    Vive le café crème!

    Cafe creme – that’s when I know i’m in Paris – superb !!
I dined alone in Paris a few times last year – some-times I felt comfortable and some times not. One beautiful little restaurant( highly recommended to me) on the ile St louis said to me – are you alone – don’t you have any-one to dine with ?? Non madame – she said they were booked out. I felt most unwelcome. oh well I didn’t let it upset me. but I found as a general rule Lunch was a totally different story – I felt most welcome and in some instances quite pampered.
    Love your site
