Market Day

09/24/2010

Doesn’t this just make you want to grab some chic, eco-friendly market bags and get busy thinking about the perfect dinner party?  Or perhaps just a candlelit tête-à-tête with someone special…

Congrats on your recent review on A Taste of Garlic, BJ, and as always, lovely photos in this post!

I finally discovered the closest market to us on Fridays and Sundays, at the top of the hill at Place des Fêtes. There are several fishmongers at that one. Thing is, buying and cooking fish freaks me out, although I do like to eat it! I need someone to come with me, help me choose, and then help me prepare to get over the hurdle of the fresh fish freakout, lol. If you are up for the task during your next visit, let me know, haha!

I also just learned about the Rue Cler markets and shops. I want to check that place out, too. the first photo looks as if it could be on a street like that.

I hope you are doing well, that the artwork is proceeding apace and that your time off to work was very, very productive.

    Be well! :)
