J’adore books set in Paris & France, don’t you? Originally, I was only going to include books here that I had read and liked, but decided that what might bore me to tears, might just enthrall another (and vise versa!) ~ I am letting you be the judge as to what sounds interesting to you. I’d love to hear what you think if you’ve read any of these ~ and recommendations of new ones that are not listed here!
So pull up a comfy chair, grab a glass of vino or a nice café crème and let’s go…..

The author of Lunch in Paris is having a book signing at 7 pm on Thursday the 11th of March, 2010 at WH Smith. I’m hoping to attend!
I’ve read quite a few of these, but there are some I have not that I’d like to check out, too . What a great page of suggested reading!

Just discovered your blog via a comment you left on ParisBreakfasts. This is a fantastic compilation of books-I have read some and am happy to see this great list of others to read and enjoy. Thank you for putting it together!

The Stephen Clarke books are ok; not great.
Paris Tales I just ordered last week. It’s always a debate whether to get them on Kindle: so convenient, but then they’re not “there” in my bookshelf. Hmmm.
I’m reading “Suite Francaise” by Irene Nemirovsky and it’s excellent: WWII.
Have you heard of “Sarah’s Key” by Tatiana de Rosnay? Excellent.
Great booklist and blog :)
